01 / BUSINESS CHALLENGE

A growing retail business
should not live inside chat threads.

The opportunity was not simply another online shop. It was one set of understandable rules connecting customer checkout and back-office order handling.

Kema Shop is a Sydney-based retail business offering curated baby-care, wellness and skincare products for Australian and cross-border shoppers. As product and order scenarios became more varied, chat and spreadsheet-based order intake created operational friction.

01
Scattered order details

Product questions, payment details and delivery addresses were spread across messages and spreadsheets.

02
Complex delivery terms

Fulfilment from different origins, promotions and tiered freight needed repeated manual explanation.

03
Post-purchase enquiries

Customers needed order and parcel updates, leaving staff to answer similar questions repeatedly.

02 / FROM MESSAGE TO CHECKOUT

Bring the answers customers need
into the buying journey.

Let shoppers browse, understand delivery and payment conditions, and leave with a usable order record. Explore the shopping journey in the workflow concept below.

05 / WHAT CHANGED

From messages and spreadsheets
to a repeatable buying process.

A clear path from product selection to order lookup, for shoppers and the team handling their orders.

Previously

Chats, screenshots and spreadsheets meant staff reassembled order details by hand.

With the storefront

Catalogue, checkout and order details became part of a more consistent customer and operational journey.

Delivery focus

Connect products, delivery, payments and self-service lookup around a consistent order record.

LET’S WORK FROM THE BUSINESS

Still managing more orders
through chats and spreadsheets?

A full replatform may not be necessary. Start by mapping how buyers order, how your team handles it and where errors occur.
